To many in the rest of the world Americans are like fat ducks waiting to be cooked and served up. Compared to those in Third World countries most Americans live lives of extraordinary luxury. We live in "the land of milk and honey." Our human and natural resourses are the envy of these countries that pretend to be friends, but in fact laugh behind our back because they see Americans as fat and weak. Do not doubt for one second that given the opportunity any and all of these countries would command an effort to dominate this nation and take from us that which gave us life, liberty and the freedom to pursue these rights. If it is the God given right of every American, native born and immigrant, to enjoy these pursuits is it then not also a right to defend them? But how are we to know whom we must defend against if we are fed lies?
In todays world it seems the American public are kept ignorant of where the threats are and we are instead fed titillating pabulum by lickspittles and toadies in the media which should, instead, be reporting truth about the dangers we are faced with. We are told that small, third world nations like Syria and Iran pose real threats and while partially true, the biggest threat faced by America is Communist China.
When Richard Nixon "normalized" relations with Red China in 1972 it was in the mistaken belief that by opening doors to trade and commerce the American dollar would sway the Red Chinese government to relax its grip on the people of China. All this did was open the door to a prosperity in which the Communist government and those connected with it became wealthy and the people remained poor. It created cash flow that was used to improve China's military and only served to imperil America. The Chinese people are friends of America. The Communist Chinese government is not. As evidence of that I offer the follwing links. Make of them what you will. (Story about Chinese nuclear sub)
(Story about Chinese nuclear subs launching missles off the U.S. West Coast)
Like Communist China's previous leaders the countries current leader, Xi Jinping, serves in multiple capacities. He is the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, the President of the People's Republic of China, and the Chairman of the Central Military Commission. As usual, the lickspittles and toadies of world's press seems to love this guy just like they loved the last Chinese leader, Hu Jintao.
The pusillanimous poltroons in the worlds media seemingly have no problem with Chinese Communist regimes that crush its people beneath an iron boot while allowing China to be polluted with the toxic byproducts of unregulated industries, most of which are American. According to the sorry apologists in the media Communist China's last leader was right for the job because he knew how to handle tough situations. The "tough situation" handled by China's last fearless leader, Hu Jintao, was the crushing of the Free Tibet movement with Chinese military might.
The media gaggle of lickspittles and toadies are quick to point out that the "new China" offers much economic incentive to entrepreneurs and that America's trade with Communist China provides many in the impoverished country with jobs. Not mentioned is the fact that labor in Communist China amounts to slave labor since the state owns you and what you produce.
Leaders may change but lies still cannot excuse the actions of a totalitarian government that uses tanks and military might to crush the protest of unarmed civilians as is repeatedly done to those who would stand against Communist rule.
Shame on the U.S. government for granting most favored trading nation status to a country whose government enslaves and murders its people.
Even more shameful is the silence on the part of most in the American media about the book "Unrestricted Warfare" by Colonels Qiao Liang and Wang Xiangsui of the Communist Chinese Army. Published three years before September 11, 2001 the book has brought accolades to its authors for pointing out ways that terrorists can attack the U.S.A. Just one quote: “Whether it be the intrusions of hackers, a major explosion at the World Trade Center, or a bombing attack by bin Laden, all of these greatly exceed the frequency bandwidths understood by the American military...”
Amazingly the powers that be in America continue to advocate free trade with a country whose government has been busy since 9/11/01 "... producing books, films and video games glorifying the strikes as a humbling blow against an arrogant nation.". Free trade with an enemy, particularly one as formidable as China, is foolish to the extreme. Infusion of American money and technology into a militaristic, communist regime will only add to the strength of this enemy. It will not help those already enslaved by the anachronistic dogma of communism. Only freedom will help them and freedom cannot come as long as the communist government is kept strong through cash generating trade.
America ignores her enemies at her own peril in todays troubled times. America strengthens an enemy and risks her own doom.
